My Obituary

All the Facts and words in the obituary are purely mine and any living person going to be dead who copies them is liable to be prosecuted .......

God told me that I have my obituary to write,
Well being a poet, it should be a literary delight,
So with profound grief and some sorrow,
I am on my heavenly abode tomorrow,
I have just signed my not so great will,
I hope my family takes care of any pending bill,
I know some close ones will cry,
While others will give it a try,
Some will refer to me as a noble soul,
Or may be even call me an ----hole,
I was not famous or known for any big act,
I had a simple life for a matter of fact,
When I was born I didn’t play any part,
And neither will I when I depart,
I will never know who came for my funeral,
I am thankful to all who came here to the cremation place,
Also I am sorry as I will not there when they are set ablaze,

So as I write my final good bye line,
I think i will die pretty fine……………………….

Waiting

I waited for u by the sea
But u didn’t come,
I waited for u in the sun,
But u didn’t come,
Whatever be the reasons,
I waited in all the seasons,
Summers left me parched and dry,
Still waiting for u I didn’t cry,
All through the times of rain,
I was all alone in my pain,
Then came the beauty of spring,
I still held the friendship string,
The winter is here with a cold night,
I left the door open to catch your sight,
I lived for so long to see you,
Due to the promise made by you,
Now my life is coming to an end,
I waited as long as I could my friend,
I knew when you promised, u had lied,
Because if I believed you, out of joy I would have died,
I also broke my promise that I will not cry,
I am leaving this world with a wet eye…………….

Let me learn..................

Let me learn not have a smile,
Let me wait for you for a while,

Let my eyes learn to spill some tears,
Let my mind wander with fears,

Let me learn to fall on my face,
Let my heart have a sluggish pace,

Let me learn to miss you more,
May be more than before

But I know whatever I try to learn,
You is what I will always yearn,

So let me learn to die,
Before you say the final good bye.
