Preserving youth

There she was an adorable woman,
The room was full of her fragrance,
But there was no way to preserve the essence,
Years later all her beauty will fade,
The attractiveness will begin to evade…………..

Left will be the memories clicked,
But they will be images of the past,
Saved on a piece of plastic,
Nothing will be there in an actual form or sense,
Which will tell her about her youthful presence?
Her hair will also be grey,
Time will have taken her youth as a prey

That day I will show the her tresses so black,
Which got entangled in my hands way back,
Somewhere her youth will be conserved,
Other than my heart ……………………….

liked the line "Time will have taken her youth as a prey".

simply astounding. the desire to preserve a physical 'proof of youth', has been so strongly expressed, it has even almost converted me(a diehard advocate of anti-physical memories) to consider the cause. the momentum not only just flows, it sweeps you away with it.
