They could fall at any sight,
They would keep me awake all night,
They brought vulnerability to my existence,
They had no reason or sense,
They made me be called an “emotional fool”
They were responsible for me being a weak soul,

Then I threw them out of my life,

Their disappearance was like a gain,
Nothing mattered, not even pain,
For months and then years,
I was aloof from fears,
They were not there to scare
They were the drops of water called “tears”
Life without them was so full of excitement,
Nothing to emote and prevent,
No howls or whimpers to face,
Nothing to leave a watery trace,
There was no redness in the eye,
Finally I had forgotten to cry……….. ?
